ADT1000A Emulator for ARM is a real-time on-line emulator. Wuhan CVTECH Info & Tech Co., Ltd. has its whole intellectual property. It is easy to use with reliable performance, and quick to debug.
ADT1000A Emulator for ARM uses the standard parallel port to connect to host PC. The core design introduces the brand-new technology, greatly enhancing the code downloading speed. It can be emulated at full speed, and thus the programs are easier to debug.
The hardware of ADT1000A Emulator for ARM supports external power supply. The power interface adopts inputs within a large voltage range and protection circuit, so it is safe, reliable and convenient to debug portable battery-power-supplied devices such as cell phones and PDAs.
ADT1000A Emulator for ARM realizes debugging between host PC and target processor via JTAG using the boundary scan pins of ARM chip. It is completely non-intrusive with no need of target memory and requires no ports of the target system. The target program debugged via JTAG directly runs on the target board. The emulation effect is close to the real system. Supports the following functions: run, stop, single-step, set breakpoints in programs, read from and write to registers, memory and system I/O and download the code to the target RAM.
Debugging devices
ADT1000A Emulator for ARM has a DB-25 interface for connecting the parallel port of the host PC, and two IDC plug ports for connecting the 14/20-pin JTAG port on the target board. Users can uses ADT IDE (integrated development environment) and the ADT1000A JTAG emulator to develop the application software. ADT IDE also supports some JTAG cables in common use at home or abroad.
